
Overview
The School offers postgraduate higher education in both psychology and counselling and psychotherapy. It also has a Short Course Centre which offers training courses in areas relevant to the helping professions. The School is responsible for the student education clinics. The Senatus meets quarterly and functions as the Academic Board responsible for academic governance, and policies and procedures within the School.
Organisational Structure
The Chair of the Cairnmillar Institute Council is Mr Rowan Kennedy. The Council has major responsibilities for vision, strategy, finance and infrastructure, and audit and risk. The Executive Director of The Cairnmillar Institute is Dr Francis Macnab. The Executive Director is responsible for the management and operation of the Institute in accordance with Council policies and directives. He is assisted by Dr Coral Brown. Professor Denise Charman is responsible for The Cairnmillar Institute School of Psychology Counselling and Psychotherapy.
