Our APAC conditionally accredited Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) program prepares students for professional practice as clinical psychologists. Students participate in supervised work placements and undertake qualitative or quantitative research into aspects into psychological interventions such as:
- The therapeutic process
- Experiences of clients and therapists
- Change processes
- Differing presenting issues and studies of treatment outcome
Students also undertake coursework units comprising of advanced study, central to the practice of clinical psychology, as well as units of professional skills development and education.
Students accepted into the program must have successfully completed a fourth year, or three year plus fourth year, APAC-accredited sequence in psychology within the last 10 years with second class Honour or equivalent overall mark, and be eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia as a provisional psychologist.
